On the morning of April 12th, Mrs. Sheila Pippin was escorted from her hospital room to her eternal reward by a band of heavenly hosts. Sheila was born February 13, 1948 in Baton Rouge LA to Billy Reno and Frances Hamilton whom have both preceded her in death. During her time on earth Sheila enjoyed painting, crocheting, sewing, shopping and was a collector of many fine things. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years Clifton Pippin of Linden, TX, sisters Connie Verrett of Waxahachie, TX and Beverly Smith and husband Dennis of Frisco, TX. daughter Michelle Gearlds of Queen City, TX, sons, Kevin Wehring and wife Leslie of Atlanta, TX and William Pippin of Linden, TX. Her grandchildren, Marie Phillips and spouse Randy Mack of Queen City, TX, Christopher Phillips and wife Meagan of Texarkana, AR, Hailey and Gabriella Gearlds of Queen City, TX, Savannah Gearlds of San Antonio, TX, Mason Wehring of Atlanta, TX and Ethan Wilkinson and wife Celsey of Texarkana, TX; great-grandchildren, Hannah Phillips of Texarkana, AR, Caitlyn, Bryce and Evelynn Wilkinson of Texarkana, TX Special friend and caretaker of 7 years Charity Morse, husband Clayton and son Paul of Atlanta, TX. She will be greatly missed here while she enjoys her heavenly reward until we are again reunited for eternity.
Funeral services will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, April 16, 2023, in the Hanner Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Mark Hill officiating.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 16, 2023, from 2 pm to 3 pm at Hanner Funeral Service.
Interment will be in Queen City Cemetery.
