It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Frances Fay Brown Stalcup, 80, of Atlanta, Texas on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. She was a Christmas Eve blessing, having been born on December 24, 1942 in Bloomburg, Texas to the late Eldridge Brown and Clemmie Parker Brown.
Mom dedicated herself to many things in her lifetime; daughter, sister, wife, grandmother, friend, switchboard operator for United Ammunition, employed by Thikol, Henson Kickernick, waitress/manager at most all of the local restaurants for many years and caregiver to anyone who needed her, but most of all, she was our Mom, our Heart, our World and will be missed beyond measure.
She is survived by her three children, Tonya Stalcup Reece, Toby Stalcup and Travis Stalcup as well as four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one sister, Christene Rachaner.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Eldridge and Clemmie Brown, five brothers, Robert Brown, Billy Brown, Jimmy Brown, Ernest Brown, infant Harrell Brown and four sisters, Ellen Byers, Emiline Sheffield, Pansy Hollingsworth and infant Catherine Brown.
