The Texas A&M University-Texarkana Department of Extended Education and Community Development (EECD), in conjunction with the Mid-South OSHA Training Institute Learning Center, will host a one-day course on OSHA 7215 Silica in Construction, Maritime, and General Industry.
This course covers the development and implementation of controls and strategies to prevent or mitigate silica exposures in construction, maritime, and general industries. Course topics include describing the requirements of OSHA’s Respirable Crystalline Silica standards and recognizing the hazards and risks, assessment options, and exposure control measures associated with silica exposure.
This seven-hour course costs $199 and is being held on January 18, 2023, on the Texas A&M University-Texarkana campus. Attendees must pre-register for the event by visiting Courses – Mid-South OTI | OSHA-Authorized Training (midsouthoti.org).
