Alfred Milligan, age 70, of Atlanta, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Monday, June 10, 2019, in a Texarkana Hospice facility.
Alfred was born February 07, 1949, in Cass County, Texas, to Wesley and Florence Milligan. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, a millwright for BE&K Construction, worked for Phillpot Power in Atlanta for many years, and an Army veteran. Alfred loved camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter Christie Milligan Beard.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Linda Milligan, of Atlanta, Texas; sons, Michael Milligan and wife Lisa of Bivins, Texas, Will Hartzo of Oregon, Andrew Hartzo and wife Kelly of Vivian, Louisiana, Clint Hartzo and wife Jamie of Atlanta, Texas; daughters, Leeann Small and husband Toby of Gatesville, Texas, Alicia Roberts of Texarkana, Texas; brother, Lesley Milligan and wife Judy of Atlanta, Texas; eleven grandchildren, Kimberley Putney, Travis Milligan, Tristan Beard, Austin Beard, Ty Hoffman, Haley Hoffman, Amber Hartzo, Andrew Hartzo, Casey Roberts, Ashlynn Hartzo, Madi Hartzo; three great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Friday, June 14, 2019, at Antioch Baptist Church, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service, with Bro. Gary Terry officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 13, 2019, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Hanner Funeral Service.
Interment will be in Antioch Cemetery.
