The Atlanta High School varsity tennis team participated in the Hallsville tennis tournament on Jan. 20, competing against predominantly 5A and 6A schools.
Gage Whatley and Anna Davis finished second in mixed doubles, main bracket.
In the consolation brackets, AHS won several medals: Landon Moore and Jackson Dillinger placed first in boys doubles, losing only to 6A Lufkin; Micah Lampshire and Brian Rapp finished third in boys doubles; Will Davis finished second in boys A singles; Deoriq Dixon finished first in boys B singles; and Riley Williams placed second in boys B singles.
