Cheryl Baxter was born October 31, 1946 and passed away January 16, 2023 at her home in Lone Star. Cheryl worked many years as a hairdresser and enjoyed singing karaoke.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Putman; parents, E.L. and Ernestine Baxter; brother, Rocky Baxter; sister, Vicky Harris; and granddaughter, Karissa Putman.
Cheryl is survived by her son, Dennis Putman of Lone Star; daughters, Dena Harvey and husband, Gary of Daingerfield, Kristy Stevens and husband, Art of Ore City, Misty Chambliss of Lone Star; sister, Sandy Asbury and husband, Ricky; brothers, Bill Baxter and wife, Debbie and Allen Baxter; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special family member, Eugene Steen; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Services for Ms. Baxter will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 23, 2023 at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs, with Bro. Scott Darby officiating.
