UPDATE On Monday, February 06, 2023, Bobby Joel Caraway Jr. surrendered himself to Officers at the Atlanta Police Department for his multiple outstanding arrest warrants.
The Atlanta Police Department has an active arrest warrant for Bobby Joel Caraway ( Jr. ) for the felony offense of Theft. Mr. Caraway has multiple active misdemeanor warrants as well. Mr. Caraway was the owner/operator of Hopkins Memorials in Atlanta for several years. The Atlanta Police Department started receiving complaints from citizens that they had paid Mr. Caraway for services through his company, but the work was never completed. The citizens reported that they had been trying to stay in touch with Mr. Caraway to check on the status of their headstones or engraving, but Mr. Caraway has not returned their calls. The Atlanta Police Department has already spoke with multiple complainants, but we suspect that there are several more that have not contacted us.
