Scores from the Prescott Tournament this past weekend:

Game one:
LK 17
Prescott 8
There were runs aplenty on Friday, as Linden-Kildare Tigers Varsity defeated Prescott 17-8.
Tyson was the winning pitcher for Linden-Kildare Tigers Varsity. Fitts threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Linden-Kildare Tigers Varsity racked up 13 hits on the day.
Game two: 
LK 9 
Hope 6
Both offenses were strong in Linden-Kildare Tigers Varsity’s 9-6 victory over Hope, AR.

Trey Phillips was credited with the victory for Linden-Kildare Tigers Varsity.
Game three:
LK 8
Ouachita 9
Despite a 7-run deficit in the third inning, Linden-Kildare Tigers Varsity almost came all the way back, eventually falling 9-8 to Ouachita on Saturday.  Linden-Kildare Tigers Varsity scored six runs in the failed comeback on a walk by Keegan Surratt, a walk by Hugh Tyson, a walk by Maysen Lemmon, and a double by Kyler Fitts.
Lemmon took the loss for Linden-Kildare Tigers Varsity.
Fitts led Linden-Kildare Tigers Varsity with two hits in three at-bats.

LK Lady Tigers Softball –
LK Softball outscored their opponents 69-8, finishing with 4 wins and no losses.  All players played very well. Freshman Callie Johnson had two wins in the circle and threw a no-hitter. Zaliyah Mitchell (10th) also had two wins in the circle. Kaycee Neville (11th), Zaliyah Mitchell (10th), and Ashtin Patterson (12th) recorded home runs in the tournament. Kyndal Fitts (12th) was named MVP of the tournament. We start district play Tuesday night at 6 pm in Bloomburg.
