Esperanza Hope Hensley, age 84, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday,
March 8, 2023 in a local hospital. She was born June 16, 1938 in San Diego,
Texas to Francisco and Marquerita Maldonado Trejo. Hope was a member
of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and enjoyed sewing and
shopping at Wal Mart, but her family brought her the greatest joy.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Billy Hensley Sr;
sister, Frances Salizar; brothers, Joe “Pinky” Trejo, Joe M. Trejo, Rudy
Trejo, Greg Trejo, Roy Trejo; and her parents.
She is survived by children, Billy Hensley Jr and wife Brenda of Atlanta,
Texas, Peggy Peacock and husband Ronnie of Bloomburg, Texas, Terry
Hensley and wife Vanny of Atlanta, Texas, Mary Franks and husband Gary
of Queen City, Texas, Eddie Hensley and wife Lisa of Queen City, Texas,
Tammy Neilson and husband Robert of Queen City, Texas; twenty four
grandchildren; forty two great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter;
five sisters, Elida Saenz, Jane Beltran, Mary Wells, Margie Payne, Alicia
Trejo; sister in law, Mary Veik; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, March 13, 2023 at Hanner
Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, March 14, 2023 in the Hanner
Funeral Service Chapel with Gary Franks officiating.
Interment will be in Olive Branch Cemetery, Bright Star, Arkansas.
