Richard Dale Roberts, born June 13, 1955, in Atlanta TX, passed from this life, Wednesday morning, May 17, 2023, at his Atlanta TX home. He was 67 years old.
Richard is preceded in death by his father Herman Wayne; sister Rita Woods; and brothers Jackie and Waylon Roberts. He is survived by his mother Viola (Redden) Roberts; sons Jessie Roberts and wife Laura of Bismarck AR, and Joseph Roberts of Bryant AR; brothers David Roberts and wife Kathy, Rodney Roberts and wife Tammy, Tony Roberts and wife Marla, Jerry Roberts and wife Nelda, and Billy Roberts and wife Joyce; sister Kay Engledowl and husband Rodney; and grandson Tyten Roberts.
Richard loved fishing, helping out in the community with his brother David Roberts, being in the Fishers of Men Sunday school class, riding his motorcycle, and tinkering with gas engines. His loss will be deeply mourned by his family and community.
He will be cremated under the direction of Queen City Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held in his honor at the Queen City First Baptist Church in Queen City TX, Saturday, May 27, 2023, beginning at 11:00 AM.
