TEXARKANA, Texas – Texas A&M University-Texarkana will be hosting its 2nd annual Teachers Law School on June 29th. The event is free and will take place from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. inside Eagle Hall on the A&M-Texarkana campus. The free professional development workshop is designed to address important legal issues facing public educators, and participants will receive a Continuing Education Credit Certificate.

- 7th Amendment / Civics Education
- Special Education Discipline Issues
- Culture Wars in Education Law Update
- Anti-Bullying Legal Updates
- School Violence- Warnings and Proactive Behavior
“The education department at Texas A&M University-Texarkana is pleased to offer the free 2023 Teachers Law School workshop to educators throughout the area,” said Dr. Mary Beth Womack, Assistant Professor of Education. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for educators to come together and hear from experts about some of the legal issues facing teachers today while also receiving a Continuing Education Credit.”
