A two-vehicle accident occurred yesterday morning at Hwy 59 and Loop 236 intersection in Queen City. An 18-wheeler and another vehicle hit head-on. Three people were taken to the hospital. Two were taken to LSU in Shreveport and one was taken to Texarkana. According to Chief Robert Mcgee of the Queen City Police Department as of Wed afternoon the male passenger of the SUV remained in LSU in critical condition .,’ The driver of the JB Hunt 18-wheeler was uninjured. According to the police report the 18-wheeler was headed north on 59 when the SUV headed south apparently crossed lanes and hit the 18-wheeler head-on. Initial reports were there was a fatality but that was not the case. Names of those involved are not being released at this time
