Wendy G. Patterson, age 63, of Queen City, Texas, went to be with the Lord Friday, September 8, 2023 at her residence surrounded by family. Wendy was born May 17, 1960, in Abbyville, Louisiana, to Jules and Ethel Gaspard. She was a homemaker and a Christian by faith. Wendy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren; she also loved riding motorcycles, cooking and her roses.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two grandchildren, Damieon Michael Gaspard and Maurice Scardino.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, David Patterson; daughters, Karen Darden, Chasity Darden, Heather Darden Gomez and husband Ray; brothers, Randy Gaspard and wife Sally; Elva Gaspard; sister, Vickie Goucher; grandchildren, Gabrieal Darden, Kimberly Darden, Bishop Boutte, Domanick Gaspard, Mason Scardino, Athena, Rayna and Ramon Gomez Jr.; great-grandchild, Cassian Rosales; God Child, Glen Goucher; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be 2:00 pm, Friday, September 15, 2023 in the Hanner Funeral Chapel.
Interment will be in Olive Branch Cemetery at a later date.
