Angelika (Angel) Thomas August 2, 1946 – November 19, 2023.
Angelika Thomas of Atlanta, Texas, while surrounded by loved ones, went home to live with Jesus on November 19, 2023. Angelika was born in Bremerhaven Germany on August 2, 1946, to Johannes and Emilie Monsees. Angelika was a member of the Atlanta community for several decades. Her passion in life was doing for others and seeing their smiles. She was strong in her Christian faith and caring for her family and friends. Her other passions included cooking, entertaining family, crocheting, sewing, antiques and restoring them, classic cars, fishing, working in her yard, along with creating and building anything.
Angelika was preceded in death by her parents, Johannes and Emilie Monsees, her sister, Brigitte Brammer and her sons Nick Howard and Bobby Thomas Jr.
Angelika leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving husband, Bobby Thomas; daughter, Bettina Ginter and husband David Ginter of Coldspring Texas, nephew Paroo Mueglich of Arlington Texas, niece Sabina Hanke of Bremerhaven . She also leaves behind sister-in-laws Reba Horton, Judy Arnold and Jeannie Thomas. Brother- in- laws Tommy E. Thomas and Billy Thomas along with several other loving family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
