Dean Waldon Holland, 78, of Linden, Texas passed away peacefully on April 4, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Holland was born November 14, 1944 in Clarks, Louisiana to Lewis Preston Holland and Willie Pearl Hall Holland.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Peggy Green Holland; son, Chris Holland and wife Shelley; two daughters, Gena Powell and husband Keith, Melissa Shores and husband Blaine; two brothers, Newell Gene Holland, Curtis Holland and wife Jerrie; one sister, Ineida Harveston; one sister-in-law, Brenda Holland; seven grandchildren, Joshua and Brittney Hall, Ashley and Cisco Mirabent, Jonathan and Rebekah Hall, Samuel Jones, Malachi Holland, Jeter Shores and Zachery Holland; five great-grandchildren, Blayden and Braxton Hall, Jayden and Carter Mirabent, Riley Hall and numerous other family members and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis P. and Willie Holland, and three brothers, O’Neal Holland, Preston Holland and Lavalle Holland.
Funeral services will 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 8, 2023 at The Center Hill Baptist Church under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service with Bro. Donald Sheffield and Bro. T.J. Bolt officiating.
There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 7, 2023 at Hanner Funeral Service.
Interment will be in the Center Hill Cemetery.
