Linden Kildare Coach Arrested

Karlton Rashad Davis, 31, an employee of Linden Kildare schools was arrested in Titus County on May 3 by the Titus County Sheriff’s Office after the Hughes Springs Police Department issued two warrants for indecency with a child April 25. Davis, who had a Hughes Springs residence listed as his current address, was transported to the Titus County Jail on the two outstanding Cass County warrants.
Linden Kildare issued this statement on their Facebook page.
“In response to the recent allegations made against an LKCISD employee, we want to ensure our parents and community know that the district took swift action. As soon as the initial accusation was made, the employee was immediately placed on administrative leave and has not been on campus or in contact with students or staff since that time. The allegations were made outside of our district and did not involve a current or former student of LKCISD nor do any of those involved live in our community. We want our community to know that we take these allegations very seriously and that the employee is no longer employed at the district.”
Davis, who graduated from Mount Pleasant High School, and had previously worked for the MPISD as late as November 2021 before being released from his position. He was then hired by Linden-Kildare CISD to work in the athletic program the following spring.
Davis has now been arraigned and is currently being held on two $50,000 bonds–one for each offense.
