Obituary
On Monday, June 05,2023, at the age of 74, Wade Wright Hitchcock made his last block on the backroads of Linden, Texas where he was born and raised….He was the son of Wright and Erma Hitchcock, and the loving father of Chris and Brad Hitchcock. He is survived by his adored sister, Jo Lawings and husband, David Lawings, and brother, Royce Hitchcock and wife, Beverly, his grandson, Lane Hitchcock and granddaughter, Keegan Hitchcock, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a man of few words, yet many knew him best for his inherent auto mechanic talents passed down by his Dad. He continued the family tradition of frequenting Conn’s Auto Part Store and was a regular in the chair there where his dad once occupied. He had a compassion for those in need and would give his all to help a neighbor in a crisis.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Stormy Laster for her kindness shown.
Anyone knowing Wade will know there will be no memorial service. Just drink a beer for him and keep on making a block…..
