Mattie Sue Wilson Harmon age 90 of Atlanta, Texas, went to be with the Lord Saturday, August 12, 2023, in a local hospital. Mattie was born October 26, 1932, in Bowie County, Texas, to Charles and Fannie Oglesby. She was retired from Ellington Clinic and a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. Mattie enjoyed spending time in her garden, and was a wonderful cook and caregiver.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Samuel Davis Wilson and Kenneth Harmon and by her parents and siblings.
Mattie is survived by numerous step-children, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 15, 2023, in the Hanner Funeral Chapel with Bro. Gene Parker officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 15, 2023, from 9 am to 10 am before the service.
Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
