In Loving Memory of James Calvin Walker

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Calvin Walker on Thursday, August 17, 2023, in Texarkana, TX. He was sixty-six years old.
James was born on November 20, 1956, and he was a truly remarkable soul who touched the lives of many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Irene (Dickerson) Walker, and his brother Willie C Walker. James is survived by his loving sons, James Patrick Coffey of Daingerfield, TX, Travis Lydell Patrick (Natasha) of Texarkana, TX, and LaKendrick Crenshaw of Atlanta, TX. He is also survived by his brother Alvin Walker of Nash, TX, sisters Brenda Webster (Charles) of Atlanta, TX, Nellye Dunbar of Irving, TX, and sister-in-law Catherine Walker of Arlington, TX, along with his cherished four grandchildren and special friend, Shedina Tyler of Arlington, TX. Additionally, he leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.
James possessed a heart of gold, always prioritizing the needs of others above his own. His kind and caring nature earned him the admiration of everyone fortunate enough to know him. He will be remembered for his selflessness and the warmth he brought into the lives of those around him. James’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
As we say our final goodbyes, he will be cremated under the compassionate care of Queen City Funeral Home.
