Texas Driver License offices statewide and the customer service call center will be closed on Friday as the department updates systems over the Labor Day weekend. The online Txt and Texas.gov systems will also be unavailable and drivers will not be able to renew or replace driver’s licenses or ID cards, obtain a driver record or verify eligibility until offices reopen Tuesday morning.
