Shauna Anette Morris, age 31, of Douglassville, Texas, passed away, Sunday, September 10, 2023 in Douglassville. She was born September 21, 1991 in Bakersfield, California. Shauna was a free spirit and loved life. She enjoyed her friends and adored her children.
Shauna is preceded in death by her mother, Maria Coats; and her grandparents, Danny and Jimmie Wheaton.
She is survived by one son, Carson James McDowell; one daughter, Gracie Lee Tolbert; brother, Danny Coats and wife Cassidy; sister, Brittni Lanay Coats and husband James Matthew Sanders; her dad, Roger Coats; and a number of other family and friends.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
A memorial service will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Oak Park, Wright Patman Lake. 284 Oak Park Rd. Texarkana, Texas 75501.
