Ronald Edwin Vaughan, age 70, of Atlanta, Texas went to be with the Lord on Wednesday September 6, 2023 in a local hospital. He loved spending time with his wife, sons, daughters in law, and grandchildren. He also loved his church family, friends, hunting, fishing, and horses.
Ronald was preceded in death by his father and mother, Charles and Opal Vaughan of Queen City, Texas.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sandra Vaughan of Atlanta, Texas; two sons Jason Vaughan and wife Cheryl, Matt Vaughan and wife LeAnne both of Atlanta, Texas; two grandsons Devon Vaughan and wife Nicole of Springfield, Tennessee, and Ashton Vaughan of Atlanta, Texas; four granddaughters Whitlee Vaughan and CharleeJo Vaughan of Atlanta, Texas, Brandy Young of Houston, Texas, and Ashley Young of Fayetteville, North Carolina; three sisters Rebecca Stuckey of Kilgore, Texas, Kay Vaughan of Quitman, Texas, and Tammie Vaughan Eubanks of Benton, Louisiana; two brothers, Donald (Bugs) Vaughan of Queen City, Texas, and Troy Vaughan of Waco, Texas, numerous brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, and nephews; and a host of friends.
Graveside services will be 10:00 am, Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Salem Cemetery, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service, with Bro. Phil Starrett officiating.
Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, September 8, 2023 at Hanner Funeral Serv
