Boil Order Issued

Due to a damaged water main at the Intersection of FM 1841 and County Road 4674, the
Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required our water system Eastern
Cass Water Supply Corporation, PWS #0340068, to notify customers of the need to boil their
water prior to consumption. As a result of this line break our customers experienced a loss in
water pressure. Water customers affected by this outage are on County Road Intersection
FM 1841 extending Northwest to include County Roads4681(Country Estates) and 4682.
To ensure the destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking,
and making ice should be boiled and cooled prior to use. The water should be brought to a
vigorous, rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes. In lieu of boiling, you may purchase bottled
water or obtain water from some other suitable source.
When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, the water system officials will notify you that the
water is safe for consumption. Instructions to discontinue boiling will be issued in the same
manner as this notice.

If you have questions concerning this matter, you may contact Harris McKnight at (903)665-
4189 or ECWSC office (903)796-2393. If a customer wishes to contact TCEQ, they may call
(512)239-4691.
